This is a photo of Catherine McCartney McMahon with her eight surviving children: Thomas McMahon, Sister Imelda (Anna McMahon), Catherine McMahon Murray, Margaret McMahon Everett, Peter McMahon, George McMahon, Mary McMahon Bick and Lucy McMahon Ball. Catherine's youngest child, who was never given a name, died in 1896. His birth record simply identifies him as: "Son of Patrick McMahon."
