span class="large"This deed, recorded March 31, 1922, transferred a large number of sublots from The Wooster Lane Park Co. to The H. A. Stahl Properties Co. Among those transferred was Sublot No. 317, which is where our house stands today!/spanbr/br/span class="large"According to the book "The Best Kept Secrets of Parma, The Garden City," H. A. Stahl had plans to create a Garden City in Parma. It would have recreational facilities, churches and playgrounds, but no commercial area since that was not part of the Garden City philosophy. Unfortunately, the Depression hit before his dream could be completed. All of the streets were dedicated and many improvements had been completed when H. A. Stahl lost everything in the Depression, dying a short time later./span
