Billy Charles King was son of David Brad and Nannie Blanche (Emert) King. He was a loving father to three children, and grandfather to three.
This is the earliest picture we have of Carole's Dad.  It's been damaged over the years, but still shows his nice smile and mischievous eyes.Here's a picture of Billy with one of his beloved hound dogs.  He loved to hunt and growing up in the hills of Tennessee, there was plenty of opportunity for that.  We think he was about 16 or 17 whenBilly on a class trip to Florida in 1955.This is Billy's senior picture, when he graduated from high school in 1954.Billy with his two daughters, Debby and Carole.  Carole looks pretty young in this shot, so it was probably taken early in 1958.Billy may have moved north, but his heart always stayed in the south.  Here's a wonderful shot from one of his many visits home, where he can be found sitting in the front yard of his parents' home.LeHe was the greatest Dad anyone could ask for.  Stern, but loving.
