Billy Charles King was son of David Brad and Nannie Blanche (Emert) King. He was a loving father to three children, and grandfather to three.

This is the earliest picture we have of Carole's Dad. It's been damaged over the years, but still shows his nice smile and mischievous eyes.

Here's a picture of Billy with one of his beloved hound dogs. He loved to hunt and growing up in the hills of Tennessee, there was plenty of opportunity for that. We think he was about 16 or 17 when

Billy on a class trip to Florida in 1955.

This is Billy's senior picture, when he graduated from high school in 1954.

He was the greatest Dad anyone could ask for. Stern, but loving. He would do anything for anyone.

Summers always found us in Tennessee and this year was no different. This time, however, instead of riding Papaw's mules, it was off to a cousin's house to ride their ponies.Here's Carole and her Dad
