Almira L. White Memorial Window

Almira L. White Memorial Window

This is a leaded glass window made by the Tiffany Studios in New York for Almira L. White, nee Greenleaf. Almira was wife of Thomas H. White, founder of the White Sewing Machine Corporation, which was the parent entity of the White Motor Corporation. The memorial window comes from the First Unitarian Church, formerly located at Euclid Avenue and E. 82nd Street in Cleveland. (April 18, 2013)

“No one lights a lamp in order to hide it behind the door: the purpose of light is to create more light, to open people's eyes, to reveal the marvels around.”
~~ Paul Coelho
