The family is found in the 1st Civil District of Sevier County, TN, Jones Cove division:
MADRIAN, Mary J. (Head; born Dec. 1851; age 48), children Ben R. (born Nov. 1879; age 20), Florence (born Feb. 1882; age 18), Willburn L. (born July 1885; age 14), Louise A. (born July 1886; age Clumbus (?) L. (April 1890; age 10). Mary was D/S. She was actually a widow. Her husband, Richard Alexander Maddron, died in 1882. The three younger children was from her marriage to Daniel James, whom it appears she divorced. This shows the family was in Jones Cove in 1900. This record does also say that Mary owned the home.
